Here's two of the fine LPs that entertained Free Reed's loyal admirers in the 1970s:
The Derbyshire-based ROARING JELLY had built a great fan-base with their hilarious songs
and novelty instrumentals, underpinned by seriously good song writing - 'GOLDEN GRATES'
(geddit?) was their first LP - and a comedy triumph!! MICHAEL HEBBERT was a pub musician
from Wallingford, and played his 'Portable Pub Piano' (a rare Jeffries Duet System concertina)
at the 'Rampin' Cat' pub, and here's a selection from his varied repertoire of ballads, songs and
English country music. He's joined by John Tams, Rod Stradling and Three Men in a Boat to create a jolly new take on pub music and song!
